It's not easy to find a success story like the rock band Creed. This foursome has ascended to the top of the charts strictly on their own merits. The group hailing from Tallahassee, Florida, came out of oblivion with their album "My Own Prison", which was released by the independent label Wind Up Records. They became the first rock group to have four number one singles on a debut album. Sales surpassed the four million mark without the aid of glitzy videos and media hype. The band gained recognition for their poignant lyrics and passionate live performances and were honored as Rock Artists of the Year by Billboard
Music Awards. Their sophomore album, "Human Clay", soared straight to number one and has currently sold over two million copies. The band was contracted to serve as executive producers for the third installment of the successful Scream 3 movietrack franchise and garnered them even more exposure.
