``Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed'' Day in Los Angeles County

BURBANK, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- March 25, 2004

Film Will Screen for Selected Los Angeles Second District Schools and
Children From the Martin Luther King/Drew Medical Center High Risk
                            Infant Program

   Los Angeles County has declared March 26th the official
"Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed Day" in honor of the release of the
live-action comedy adventure "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed,"
starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard,
Linda Cardellini, Seth Green, Peter Boyle, Tim Blake Nelson and Alicia
Silverstone. The declaration was made by Los Angeles County Supervisor
Yvonne Brathwaite Burke. "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed"
screenwriter James Gunn accepted the proclamation at a presentation on
March 23rd.

   On Saturday, March 27th, a screening of the film will be held at
the Magic Johnson Theater (4020 Marlton Ave., Baldwin Hills, CA 90008)
for 300 children from selected Second District schools and the Martin
Luther King/Drew Medical Center's High Risk Infant Program.

   This screening of "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" is a
public-private partnership with Los Angeles County Second District to
educate and empower youths through positive film imagery that promotes
learning and problem-solving techniques.

   In "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed," Scooby and the gang lose
their cool - and their stellar reputation - when an anonymous masked
villain wreaks mayhem on the city of Coolsville with a monster machine
that re-creates classic Mystery Inc. foes like The Pterodactyl Ghost,
The Black Knight Ghost, Captain Cutler's Ghost and The 10,000 Volt
Ghost. Directed by Raja Gosnell from a screenplay by James Gunn, based
on characters created by Hanna Barbera Productions, the film is
produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle.

   "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" will be released in North
America on March 26, 2004 and distributed worldwide by Warner Bros.
Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

   This film has been rated "PG" by the MPAA for "some scary action,
rude humor and language."
